Your 12-day voyage aboard Damai 2 explores Komodo National Park and the volcanic islands of the Lesser Sundas, a legendary route balancing prehistoric landscapes with action-packed diving. This expedition tracks pristine coral reefs, current-swept seamounts, and smoking volcanoes, offering rare opportunities to cross paths with whale sharks, manta rays, and the iconic Komodo dragons.

The journey begins in Labuan Bajo for a check-dive before heading south into the wild ecosystem of Horseshoe Bay. This cold-water enclave features the world-famous pinnacle of Cannibal Rock and the vibrant soft corals of Yellow Wall, backdropped by beaches where Komodo dragons roam. Moving to Langkoi and Padar, you will dive Manta Alley to witness schooling mantas, sharks, and bumphead parrotfish, alongside the dramatic caves and swim-throughs of Pillarsteen.

Our exploration continues through Central Komodo and the northern boundaries of the park. You will drift across the manta cleaning stations of Karang Makassar, dive the fish-packed pinnacle of Batu Bolong, and step ashore for a guided trek to see the prehistoric dragons in their natural habitat. Heading north, the current-swept seamounts of Crystal Rock and Castle Rock deliver intense shark and schooling pelagic action, followed by a stop at the underwater caldera of Gili Banta for adrenaline-fueled drift dives and world-class night diving.

We finish the expedition by charting a course west toward Sumbawa and Bali. We explore the black sand slopes of the active volcano Sangeang to search for rare Rhinopias, and cruise the pristine coral gardens of Mojo Island. A major highlight follows at Saleh Bay, where you will swim alongside gentle whale sharks gathering around traditional fishing bagans. After a final relaxed day at sea crossing to Bali, we arrive in Benoa where our team manages all airport transfers and logistics for your departure.

    DISCLAIMERS
Damai are flexible to change itinerary suggested based on customer’s preference in the event that weather and time allow us to do so and if changes is agreeable by all participants on board.

Due to the need to report to the local village, divers will need to be flexible with the start time of the first dive at some of the dive sites.
