Unspoiled, remote yet accessible on Dive Damai 1 Forgotten Islands are recognized as one of Asia’s top ten dive destinations. Muck diving is a must here as is diving with the huge shoals of reef fish who live on the pristine coral reefs. There is stunning volcanic mountain scenery above and breathtaking diving below from Weedy Rhinopias and frogfish to big critters such as the occasional Mola Mola, Hammerhead, and Thresher Shark.
The trip will continue on to dive some of the remote and largely unexplored paradise of the Forgotten Islands or Southeast Moluccas. The Forgotten Islands are a 1000 KM long chain of archipelagos that go from Timor to West Papua. The waters are crystal clear with a variety of diving with bommies, reefs and incredible walls. Not many have ventured to the Forgotten Islands for diving and it is sure to be an unforgettable experience that is exciting and spectacular!
