The trip to Manado, known for its exceptional diving spots suitable for all levels, offers diverse dive experiences. These include dramatic wall dives teeming with marine life like sea turtles, reef sharks, and colorful fish, as well as volcanic muck diving, where divers can interact with rare creatures such as mimic octopuses and frogfish.
Travelers arrive in Manado in the morning and settle into their accommodations. A checkout dive may be arranged based on their comfort level. The adventure features dives around Bangka Island, where divers can explore vibrant coral reefs and search for unique macro critters like pygmy seahorses. Time is dedicated to Siau Island, where divers may hear volcano sounds while exploring hot springs and witnessing rich marine life.
We follow this with a day diving at Mahegentang, another underwater volcano, where divers can see various fish species while navigating through unique underwater landscapes. More pinnacles around the island allow for diverse exploration opportunities, with chances to encounter larger sharks. We head back to Pulau Kelapa before moving to Mahoro, where stunning coral formations host an abundance of marine life.
Divers return to Bangka for further exploration of its famous dive sites, and the highlights muck diving at Lembeh, focusing on strange and fascinating creatures. We then spend a couple of days in Bunaken National Park, known for wall dives and clear visibility, where scuba enthusiasts can find turtles and various critters.
Coming to the end of the adventure we wrap up the trip with dives around the healthy reefs of Siladen, showcasing colorful marine life.
