Belize Aggressor III

Overview:

Take a trip on the Belize Aggressor III, with a maximum number of 18 passengers in 9 deluxe staterooms you can enjoy all that Belize has to offer. You can enjoy the diving and the abundant land excursions available.

Accommodations:

The Belize Aggressor III sleeps 18 guests in privacy and comfort. She features a roomy, air-conditioned salon and dining area, sun deck complete with photo center with a digital video and still photo editing computer. Diving amenities include Nitrox, individual dive lockers, camera table with low-pressure air hoses, and two hot, fresh water showers. The Belize Aggressor III has a safe aboard to store valuables such as passports, cash, credit cards or anything else you would like to store.

Dining:

The menu onboard is varied and plentiful, with a variety of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. If you have any special dietary requirements, please be sure to let the boat know. You will awaken to fresh fruits, hot entrees, cereals and juices. Lunches are buffet-style, featuring hot soups, homemade breads, salads and sandwiches and/or entrees. Dinners are served each evening and include salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken with a fresh homemade dessert.

Sample Itinerary:

  • Saturday: Guests arriving in the morning are transferred to the Radisson Fort George Hotel and luggage is taken aboard the boat. Afternoon arrivals are met at the Belize City airport and transferred to the Belize Aggressor III. At 6:00 p.m., the vessel departs for its first anchorage while the onboard chef serves a delicious dinner. Afterwards, the Daptain gives a detailed welcome aboard and safety briefing.
  • Sunday: Dive briefing! Beginning Sunday morning, guests may enjoy up to five dives each day. All dives are conveniently made from the mothership. Excellent snorkeling is available for non-diving passengers. While you are diving, the chef prepares delicious snacks and scrumptious meals, served on schedule. Night dives are offered throughout the week, conditions permitting.
  • Monday-Thursday: Diving continues at favorites like The Elbow, Quebrada, Long Caye Ridge, Painted Wall, Elk Horn Forest, The Blue Hole and Cathedral.
  • Lighthouse Reef: The crew will shuttle you to Half Moon Caye for a walk on the beach and a tour of the bird sanctuary, weather permitting. Here you can observe red-footed booby and frigate birds. There is even a lighthouse built in 1848. This shore excursion is conducted mid-week.
  • Friday: Diving ends Friday morning. At approximately 1:00 p.m., the Belize Aggressor III returns to Belize City. Exciting tours such as Cave Tubing, the Belize Zoo or Mayan Ruin explorations can be arranged by the Captain or prior to your vacation.
  • Saturday Checkout: Checkout time is 8:00 a.m. Guests are transferred to the Belize City airport or a local hotel. An early morning departure is recommended.

The Diving:

You will be diving in water that averages 82 F in the summer months and approximately 78 F in the winter months. Most guests make as many as 5 dives each day, so some sort of protection is needed. A 1-3 mm wetsuit or shorty is recommended year round. All diving is from the mother ship.

Enjoy divesights like Black Beauty, known for turtle and Eagle Ray sightings; Cathedral,  where you can enjoy colorful formations resembling cathedral steeples with sandy cuts in betweeen signify this site; and Blue Hole, the world’s largest blue hole, made famous by Jacques Cousteau in the 1970’s.
